Is there anybody using A8N-SLI Deluxe with Antec Sonata Piano Black case with equipped 380W TruePower PSU... if there is, plz share some experiences with me!? The PSU has 24A on 12V line... is it enough for this configuration??:

- A8N-SLI Deluxe
- 1GB RAM
- 2x GF 6600Gt
- 3x HD
- 1x DVD

Voltage monitor is giving me these values:

+12V: 11,712
+5V: 4,945
+3,3V: 3,246
Vcore: 1,12

Somebody comment these! ...I dont understand much about these values.

So far everything has been just fine with this configuration. No stability problems, crashes or nothing. It seems like PSU is powerful/good enough! I'm asking these stupid questions just because many people are using 500-600W PSU's with this kind of configurations and mine is only 380W...!!!

Your voltages look to be within tolerances, but if you start getting instabilities, you may want to upgrade the powersupply, especially if your getting problems in games because of the power draw from your two vid cards.

The Antec TruePower PS's are some of the best, and should be just fine.

If you ever upgrade to something like 2x 6800ultra's you will most likely need a better PS.

I am using the Sonata with the 380W 24A power supply:

- A8N-SLI Deluxe
- 1GB RAM Kingston hyperx
- 2x GF 6600Gt (overclocked)
- 3x HD (2sata 1ide)
- 1x DVD
- 1 dvd burner
- card reader
- floppy drive
- Overclocked 3200 (90 nm) (2.2 now)
- Zalman cpu cooler
- usb scanner and two printers

Voltage monitor is giving me these values:

+12V: 11,712
+5V: 4,865
+3,3V: 3.232
Vcore: 1.504

No problems. 3dMark05 score 6152

With this combo, do you need any extra power cables? I have just bought this and I have a couple leftover spots in the main power connnector...is that normal?

You will have plenty of connectors. The 20 pin main hooks to the 24 pin mobo slightly offset. It should slide on easilly. I was stupid and forced it on to match the latching mechanism. It slid on ok but did not boot up. Fortunately no damage.
