good price for a great case. Using this for my main workstation currently, after getting tired of the noise output and size of my older antec tower case.

One thing to note, however, is that the aluminum construction does make this case fairly fragile. This may be even more of an issue if you have a really heavy PSU as there is no crossbar support, just a small ledge and 4 screws on the back.

Other than that, w00t w00t =)

I LOVE THIS CASE!!! I cant express how damn well designed it is. Its small But I've put 4 HDDs, 2 Optical drives, and a floppy in the case, and my case is cleaner then a bleach vat.

I, for one, advice against having this case.
I got this case months ago for 40 dollars after rebate at compusa, it's been 3 months and still no word of my rebate check.
The first one i got was defective, there's a small depression along the seams of the back panel, my psu won't fit, i had to exchange it. other than that, the quality is very good.
but there are more problems:
the two side panels are very hard to open and close.
and then the biggest flaw of all:
antec has this drawer style harddrive trays, and it doesn't have no holes to secure my harddrives, my hd's were just like rattling around the tray (because the tray is much bigger than the drives) when i'm moving the case with the included straps. very stupid design. and did i mention you can't use harddrive fans on your harddrives because the trays are too short to hold them? this case is suppose to lower the temp. of your system but my harddrives run much hotter cause i can't use regular harddrives fans that's attached to the bottom.
did i also mention the aluminum alloy metal sheets used in this case is kinda thin ?

i know i'm a bit critical but when i see something that works well, i will take notice of it. sadly this just isn't one of them.

That and the very thin aluminum the case is constructed out of make this thing horrible for anybody the least bit sensitive towards noise. Sold mine on EBay a week after I got it.

Did you try and use the holes that are underneath the tray and go up into the bottom of the drive?? The trays use the included screws that have a riser of sorts.

What he said. Perhaps a quick look inside the little manual that came with the case might have been a good idea.

Can't speak on rebates since when I bought mine there weren't any rebates to speak of.

Side panels can be a bit tricky to open and close as stated. Just gotta be careful not to push too hard on the back of the case.

See above two posts on how to use the hard drive trays correctly. They DO have screw mounts via the rubber grommets which assists in reducing vibration noise from the drives.

Who needs 'regular harddrive fans' when there's a 120MM fan that cools the hard drives anyway.

Yes, the aluminum is thin. That's the point of the case, to make it lighter to tote around to lan parties.

The side panels open up and close very easily. Just the first few times, they may be hard. You have to be careful and open and close them a few times.

As stated, the hard drives are mounted in removable trays from the bottom of the drive with four screws through rubber washers (all included).

And as stated, the hard drives are cooled with the included 120mm intake fan.

I got my rebate from Antec in about 2 months.
Everything runs cooler and quieter now.

I further improved the case (cooling) by drilling holes in the drive trays to allow more air to flow through the case. You can also see interesting modding of this case by tiamat. Search for it.

Check rebatestatus.com, I think i got in on the same deal you did, and my rebate check was mailed to me on wednesday, although i have not gotten it yet. However, I would also advise against this deal, it seems like these go on sale for $30-40ish after rebate fairly often at compusa. It's an excellent case, but with a little patience, there will be better prices available

very overrated case. after hearing so much praise i took a look at it over at compusa its flimsy, not enough room to work with, plastic grill on front makes it look ugly, the 120s are there for show they push no air. i think people are just fooled into buying it because of its price tag, that its antec and it has dual 120s. its a very low quality case tho.

I donno, I thought I really liked mine, but now with all the negative remarks, maybe I should reconsider?

I like the size of this case - I wanted something a little smaller than my old tower. Airflow is very good w/the 2x120mm fans, even throttled down w/a fan controller. If low noise level is important, you'll want to be sure that the stuff you put in the case is reasonably quiet (NB & CPU fans, etc) because the grills are large and don't restrict the sound inside from getting out. Also, thin aluminum isn't the best sound reducer.

As for looks, to each their own. Certainly people who like cases that look like insects w/LED eyes aren't likely to be impressed.
