I went to the one in Palo Alto. The one in San Jose off Brokaw is sold out of them. At least thats what a friend of mine who works there told me.

The SX 1030B (black) w/300 watt Antec PS is here at Onvia.com who has free shipping again I believe...price $100.24

The kickass 1240 server case w/400 watt Antec PS is here....price $140.94

The SX 830 and the SX 1030 (beige), I believe are on backorder as of today (3/10).

I have 3 of the 1030B's and I love 'em. They're just the right size...not too big and not too small. If you need lots of external bays go with the 1240...info can be found here.

Frys also has these with Enermax 330W PS &amp; 2 case fans for $130. They have a blue faceplate (matches Logitech mouse) and black casing. Very nicely done.

Excellent case for the money!

Putting together a new system, I bought this case for $120. The layout and architecture is just flawless! Plenty of room for expantion and Plenty of airflow.

For those of you who have many components that run hot OR are avid overclockers, this case is for you! I do recommend buying two more 4x80mm fans, one for the HDD bay (which keeps my two IBM 45GB 7200 Deskstars nice and cool) and one more just below the HDD bay for better air circulation.

Too bad there is not a Frys around Austin, TX.

I thought this would be a better deal for people in california. Onvia charges tax on the case so my total was about $111 with 3-7 day shipping. At frys it ends up to be around $108 plus you can physically inspect it before buying it and then take it home the same day. The 1240 uses a 400watt supply but I have heard that this PS is not P4 ready.

I bought this case at Fry's in Nov 2000 for 98+tax. After they started selling like crazy they raised their prices to 129 + tax. 99 + tax is a good sale price if you don't want to wait from Onvia. I bought a second case from Onvia in Dec and it took over two weeks to get it. Built a third Athlon system for a friend who wanted my same case but he didn't want to spend 129.99+ 10 tax from Fry's so I found the SX 1030 from Cental Computer Link (for those in the Bay area) for 105 + tax (it's their regular price and they have the black 1030 for the same price). Sorry this doesn't apply to people outside the Bay area but I know there are quite a few Anandtechers who live here. Just thought I'd post in case someone wants the black model.
