I've got the sx1030 and it is NICE!
Looking at getting its little bro next, the smaller one.

Quiet and very easy to get into. Moving drives is a snap. THat's why i want another one, so i can move a zip drive or other drives from one machine to another easily.

Their site is sometimes a little weird, but I had no trouble placing my order and recieved it in 5 days. I'm not sure why it's also listed for $123.62 under their search engine and I don't know why the black case costs $22.50 more, but ~92 bucks out the door is quite reasonable for such a nice case.

What are the dimensions of the 1030 case? Antec's site has them as being the same as the 830. That seems weird to me. Just wanted to verify that with anybody who has it.

Yes, the dimensions of the 830 and the 1030 /b are the same.

Get the 1030. Super case. Its a bit bigger than the usual midtower, but considerably less than full towers. But has almost as many drive bays. Efficent interior design, with one lever removable drive bays. Cool.

Got my SX1030B from Computers4Sure 1 DAY after I ordered! I just used the regular UPS ground shipping, ordered on Thursday and had the case Friday morning! This case is so sweet I won't even start about how much I like it.

I got in on the Onvia deal on the 1030B. This is one sweet case. One thing to keep in mind though. I've got a SB live 5.1, a CDRW, a DVDrom, and a CD rom (free from the recent staples deal)....I have no more external 5.25 space. I can't imagine what else might take up another slot, but I'm just not comfortable knowing that I've maxed out my space.

dammit, I just ordered a 1030b for 117... I got tired of looking around and finding none in stock, or prices like 99+30 shipping+tax...

on the other hand, I finally got to see it at fry's today... oh my god it is a bit smaller than my old supermicro full tower, and I probably have more space in that tower, but I wanted the sx1030 for the removable side and greater ease of modification. as soon as I get it I'm roto-zipping a blowhole in the top, and a couple in the side for my antec 92mm fans (agp intake, and another intake elsewhere). now I just need 2 more 80mm to fill up the front, and I'm done hehehe... damn... the 120mm panaflow is gonna look nice on top

I got my SX1030 a while ago and I made the dumb mistake of forgetting about onvia so I paid a bit more than I should have.

However, I absolutely love this case. I would recommend it to anyone providing they like the door. I've already broken mine once but good ol' superglue and duct tape fixed her up nice like.

I got two sx1030s from page computer for $166 shipped but the prices have risen since Thursday a week ago. This is my 3rd sx1030. I also have used 2 inwin q500n's. The thing is I just tossed a cheap superpower atx case because I had to bend all the metal brackets on the cards to get them installed. I finally popped one out while running and killed the ps. Classic YGWYPF!!!!

i think i like the egghead deal the best...go with that one. you can get some of their other deals with the flat rate shipping...and i trust those guys the most. so what if you pay 3 extra bucks? but its a great case...i just wish i didn't already have one.

I got mine in a couple days ago.. yummy.

the enlight case has many more external 5.25 bays (almost double). big deal the sx1030 has a few features I REALLY appreciate.

3.5 floppy mounts in the NORMAL spot so you don't have a crappy floppy cable running up a foot and a half, killing airflow all the way.

lots of 3.5 drive space. you can easily mount three hard drives with good airflow between them.

fan mounted to the front of the lower 3.5 rack.

rail-mounted 5.25 devices.

drops my temps 10C from my previous supermicro full tower.

now, how many 5.25 devices do you have? also, how many are you considering buying? I only have a dvd and cdr right now, and am planning on picking up an ultra plex. that leaves one more 5.25 bay open.

do you have a floppy AND a zip? mount them both in the 2 exposed 3.5 bays. yeah, I know that might get hairy with the ide cable situation unless you have an abit be-6 mobo or the like with 4 seperate IDE channels (8 devices possible).
