Just for future references, there's no such thing as "crapping" on a Hot Deal thread. If you have important information, then tell people. Especially if it's about the company's reputation or what not.

Secondly, EMS's site is a bit buggy, as in you can always change the price to anything you want. Take the posted link for example:

Just change the part that's in bold to another price and the site will display the new price. HOWEVER, this is illegal, and wrong, and EMS usually never offers you the *new* price you set.

As someone posted earlier, the real price for the item is $73.00 not $19.99. Whoever ordered it from that adjusted link is ordering fraudulently.

I ordered the Antec 830 through EMS July 28th just so I could get a decent power supply and to take advantage of the free shipping that was being offered at the time. So I figure I was going to get it very soon since they charged me tax so I figure the outfit was based in California. So then I get this message Sunday August 4th:

Dear Valued Customer,

We have received your recent order; however, we will be unable to ship your
product(s) in a timely manner. As a result, we have cancelled your order.

Well you figure ok, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and I just lost out on the deal but I check my Visa and sure enough they charged me right away. On top of that now I see a post that they're selling the 830s again but with $20 shipping. If there's such a delay in getting the order processed why are they selling them still as in-stock items? Sounds to me like they're doing alot of bait and switch tactics or they just can't run a business.

Actually, the mods have made it quite clear there IS thread crapping on hot deals.. While it differs from thread crapping in the FS/FT forum it still exists. Thread crapping in Hot Deals consists of crapping on the deal with no explanation of why (ie: this sucks) or any talk that has little or nothing to do with the actual deal (like when the religous deals were going around)..

Anyway, stay away from EMS, been waiting for 5 days now for a credit back to my CC for a case they cancelled.
