i think its a pretty good deal - you can't usually get true antec cases for this price in any case, and with the psu, i think its pretty hot.

Thanks for the post, Farbio. I picked one up on Sunday (last one at the closest CUSA) - the "black" one only is on sale - then got busy at Office Depot chair shopping and didn't get around to posting this very fine deal - even with CUSA's poor rebate rep with many ATers.

Actually, with a lot of patience I've gotten nearly all the CUSA rebates I've sent in (over 40), so I feel sure this one will come through, too.

thanks for the kind words - i actually had my faith restored in tca rebates today.....got 2 rebates from them just in the 8 week time frame, so i might have to actually jump in on this deal as well....damn, i hate spending money that i don't have!

At this moment, when I try to go to the CompUSA website it says it is "Closed" while they "restock their virtual shelves". What kind of sad joke is that? I can't think of another website that has to close their site periodically while they update it. Imagine if CNN had to do that.

Sounds like a nice deal. If they have some in stock in my area I might have to jump on it just in case I need to build a new machine in the future. Will the 350W power supply be sufficient for the new P4s and Athlons?

fps - i think that 350 should be enough power for most systems - i have an enermax 330w at the moment running an athlon xp 1800+, ati 64mb vid card, 3 cd drives, floppy and 2 hds with no probs at all

I have this exact case. Nice and roomy inside and nice features. It also takes a max. of 5 fans so you will not have any problems keeping the ambient temps low. Last point is that the Antec 350 watt power supply is really nice and relatively quiet.

AUXOUT: You can compute shipping on-line without ordering it. Shipping for me was a little over $20, so kind of negates the deal. My local shop sold the last one yesterday (besides display model that looked like somebody's kids had been playing with the parts).

Got a friend in a city 3 hours from me picking one up at his store, as it's in stock. In case you didn't know, there's a "enter zip code" deal on the page...put your in, and it will bring a pop-up showing you what stores "near" (I use that term loosely....5 hours away is NOT near) have it in or out of stock.

I bought this case from Staples.com, price matching it to Page Computer for $68.xx + $24 shipping, or about $92. I bought more than $10 worth of office supplies along with it and used a $20 off $100 coupon for a net price of about $72 plus tax. Having the shipping included in the PM sucked, but it netted out to be a pretty good deal.

Hey thanks for posting the deal. I printed out the CompUSA page and took it to Staples which is right around the corner from me and they price matched it to $77. Didn't have to drive to CompUSA which is farther away and most important I didn't have to hassle with the mail in rebate!

2 things - one, since when did staples carry cases? and two, why didn't you use the 10 or 20 off coupons to make this even hotter?

2 things....1, I wasn't 100% sure if Staples would PM a MIR and 2, I searched a little and only came up with the a $10 off coupon. Since the deadline was closing in on me I panicked and went for the deal as is instead of farting around trying to get the extra $10 and possibly messing up the deal.

Don't know when they started to carry them....but it looks like they only carry 2. The Antec SX835 and the SX1035B.

and i knew you could do that special order deal, but i had no idea that they did at some stores....could just be that nothing is ever carried in tallahassee and that's why i didn't know
