well it doesn't look like I can go wrong on either of these. i'm planning on installing an enermax 350w power supply and a few fans, but both come with several. i will probably get a duron 650/700 and overclock it (if any motherboards support multiplier changing).

I've never heard one single complaint from anyone who owned the Addtronics 6896. From what I've heard, Addtronics is the way to go.

hmmm... the Addtronics is an awesome case, but if you want to spend under $100, go with the SX830. It is an awesome case in its own right, and is not as tall as the 6896.

I have an Addtronics and it is one sweet case, lots of features. A good bang for your buck in my opinion.

what fans does this come with? will they be able to handle an overclocked duron?

I have no idea what fans it comes with... Its a great case though, and I highly suggest getting the luxury casters.

Not exactly sure what fans are standard but likely you'll get at least a 120mm intake and 60mm exhaust fan...possibly another 80mm blowing over the internal 3.5" bays. But there's plenty of built-in fan mounts if you need extra.

my addtronics 7890a kicks ass. i only wish i had gotten the 7896. i want the third intake fan... oh well. ill just make a blowhole in the front for a 120mm and forget about the 2 fans...

The 6896A is a really spacious case and well built, with good cooling options. I own one myself. The only problem you might find with it is that it only has 1 external 3.5" drive bay and 3 external 5.25" drive bays. Its not a problem with me since I only have a floppy drive, zip drive and CD-ROM drive.

Goi, I own one too. My only gripe (minor) is that the reset button is so small you can't press it with a finger. You need to grab a pen and jab it in there. But in a month I've only had to use that button once. Bill Gates has blessed me with a stable Windows 98 on this machine...for now. I'd still rate the case 10/10.

Oh yes, the reset button is another pain in the ass. Usually I use one of those tiny screwdrivers to press it as I don't wanna get any ink on the button

I own the 6896a here. Love it and the only thing I'd do next time is go all the way with a 7896.
