The CC website is not really accurate on which stores have the PS in stock. I called around the houston area and found several store which had them when the CC site reported none in stock...

I have this PS... nice and has allowed me to OC a ton on my P4 sytsem, but a tad noisy compared to some of the more silent=types.

also, I was recently in the market to replace my dying AGP card with a new ATI X1950.... good thing I didn't as the card rquirements are stated as a 30A 12v continuous rail....

the true power 480 has 22A on its 12v line.... bummer



so I'll prob get a 7800gs, which is enough to last me a another year or so....

not to rain on your party, but I had the TP-II 550W and it blew a cap. This is a common problem with the truepower line, they have cheapo caps in them. Great design overall and quiet units but the caps are crap

Fuhjyyu caps are FTL. Same as the ones used in SmartPowers so buyer beware...

Usually if you RMA something from Antec that isn't made anymore (like the TP series) they'll send you an updated PSU.

I have an old Antec True 430W that seems to be fine, but these newer ones apparently aren't as good...

Pretty much the way it seems. Never had any trouble with the older line, but the new TPII I had popped. Stupid thing.

If you are handy with a soldering iron you could just pop the PSU open and change out the fuhjyyu craps with some good quality caps and then you'd have a decent unit.
