They also have the Enlight ATX 420W P4 Power Supply EN-8420934 - RETAIL for $49 shipped, although the specs listed on the site seem a bit inflated, especially the 12v line:

Output: +3.3V@35A;+5V@35A;-5V@1A;+12V@33A;-12V@1A;+5VSB@2.2A

Three Antec True 480w and no problems yet.
Friend has a 430w and no problems on his side either.

I always plug them up and connect the green+black pins first before hooking up to any systems though.

Any recommend on psu beside antec? Antec true power series is a little bit over-pricy.

well. i have had a raidmax...and that badboy went "poof" in about a year. ever since then, i have gotten antec.

antec and enermax are my personal favs. if you get a antec, it doesnt have to be a true power. newegg sells a smart power 300w for $36

Thanks for the tip. Got one on the way. For $55 w/ free shipping, I think this is a hot deal.

I was upgrading my motherboard to an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe. When I switched it on for the first time, nothing happened. I pulled the PSU connector from the MB, jumped the green and black wires together and still nothing. This PSU had been working for 2 1/2 years, and suddenly nothing. It's an Enermax EG365P-VE with a 2 year warranty :| . It had been flakey recently, now that I think about it. I didn't realize the problems I was having were caused by the PSU until it died and I switched to an el-cheapo Deer 250 Watt PSU I had laying around. The Asus MB runs perfectly off it, but it doesn't have enough power for all my HD's and stuff. I can't wait to get my hands on this 380W and put my system back together.

Be careful. I had a 300W Deer go out on me, during the first week or two after setting up my new (at the time) MSI KT4V-L mobo/Athlon XP2000 CPU, and a couple of HDs, and a few opticals. Wasn't a good thing, I'm thankful that it didn't take out anything along with it.

Larry, thanks for the concern. I know they are junk. My Deer 250W (Yeah, right. More like 150W!) has been working for about a year now in my AMD K6-III Super Socket 7 system. If I hadn't been using it for so long, I would never trust it with an XP system. It lists 9A max for the 12V+!!!

BTW, weepul, please post current hot deals you find, as you will really help all of us. Don't take this the wrong way, but posting about what was on sale last week belongs in the "Brag and Moan" section. Today at Directron, the TruePower 430W is $69.99 + $6.90 S&H = $76.89!!!...
