Mine lasted one year, operating 16 hours per day on a very basic machine. IOW, I don't think I was putting much load on the unit. The most demanding machine it ever had to power is my current setup:
8RDA3+, XP 2400+, 512Mb DDR RAM, Turtle Beach Santa Cruz, 3Com NIC, Ti4200, 7,200 rpm Western Digital Caviar (40Gb), CDROM drive, 1.44 floppy, Belkin RegulatorPro UPS
Was I unlucky, or is there a reason you can get such good specs and features for a fairly low price with Antec?
For my next PSU experiment, I'm going to plug in a 425 watt PC Power&Cooling unit. I'll bet it runs twice as long as the Antec because you usually get what you pay for I think.
