Antec TruePower TRIO 550 or Neo HE 550 PSU?

Fry's has Antec TruePower TRIO 550 on sale for $79.99. I bought an Antec Neo HE 550 a couple weeks ago for $69.99. I can't find any comparsion between those two PSU's. I am wondering which PSU is better? Should I return the Neo HE to get Trio? TIA for your suggestion.

They are very similar. Both very low-end Seasonics. The Trio should be better but it isn't worth exchanging, both are fine.

The NeoHE is pretty crappy and the TRIO is just junk The NeoHE is the better of the two.

unit and it could not hold it's mudd under load either.

The reslts weren't THAT colorful. Just couldn't hold up under the heat.

Paris Hilton of power supplies - I like that.

I find Antec's are good power supplies for most needs. Not for the high end systems.

Hah, I saw a Trio opened up and looked like Antec had skimped out vs. what I have seen in Seaonics own units. I didn't give it much thought since personally I'll never buy a Antec PSU for any machine I build but I thought they would at least be ok units since Seasonic was the source but apparently that?s not the case.

That?s too bad, has Antec not learned their lesson yet?

I have a NeoHE 550 in my system (C2D E6600 @ stock, 1x ATi Radeon X1900XT @ stock, etc.), and it's doing fine, making no audible noise from under the desk, and with very stable on-the-money voltages (according to the BIOS measurements).
