Antec TRUEPOWER vs NeoPower

I'm debating between two PSU's right now. I had an Antec True 380W PSU, which unfortunately either died on me, or just isn't capable of handling my hardware anymore.

Anyways, I need to get a new PSU.

Which out of the following would you reccomend and why?

TRUEPOWER
NeoPower

Also, why is NeoPower so much more expensive?

Oh, and I just noticed I commited a repost

EDIT: Are there any other PSU's you'd reccomend for that price? I'm open to any suggestions, and looking for the best choice

not sure. the neopower have active pfc. truepower has higher ampage.

What's PFC? I noticed that, but have no idea what it is/does.

Partly because its modular, there's probably other reasons that I'm forgetting. Both will serve you well though.

Or how about I just need a new PSU like I said in the OP, and I'd rather get something knowing WHY I got it, rather than blindly going in and saying "some person online told me to".

i'd be all over that tpII 550 for that price. i paid $20 more a couple months ago. pfc is needed for europe, not the us.

the neo is good to but i can tell you the tpII is a rock.

how about compared to this Zippy?

If I'm not mistaken, the zippy is extremely quiet. How's the noise level on the TPII?

i dunno about thenoise of the zippy. the tpII is quiet but thats a relative measure. i have 4 case fans, so...

anyway, hows it compare? again, i don't have a zippy they're supposed to be very good but the one you picked is less powerful and less efficient than the tpII.

I bought the Neopower for slightly under $100 7 months ago.

Neopwer is nice, because of the active PFC and cable management system. But in terms of straight poer, the TPII 550 has more grunt.
