What people don't get is that there won't be as many jobs. The ownership class is replacing human labor with automation at every level. I've made the argument before that the violent extremists on both sides are pretty much exactly the same.

Quite right, though I'd argue antifa is worse in practice due to the support they get from the mainstream media. On the opposite side, nazism is much worse in theory but currently they don't have nearly the political pull of the extremist groups on the left.

Really? Using the misdirection tactic?

"Poisoning the well" only applies when the original party is making an evidence-based argument (for example, I personally don't think its directly relevant where a climate-change rejecting scientist gets their funding, as long as what they are saying stays within the bounds of normal science).

But in this case we are just talking about political rants, not reasoned arguments. Hence the nature of the person saying it is of direct relevance and the 'poisoned well' argument is not applicable.
