I am an avid Starcraft player so I need to use 640x480 on my wide screen monitor.
However, 640x480 is always stretched, even when I select fixed-aspect ratio from
the NVIDIA Control Panel.
NVIDIA has suggested an OverScanCompensation utility that allows 640x480 to work
with a fixed aspect ratio. It works, but has a major issue: After selecting Full Screen
on any type of video, the effects of the OverScanCompensation utility disappears until
I reboot my computer.
This is so frustrating having to restart my computer over and over just because I
watched a video. I'm so pissed that this high end graphics card can't even play my
favorite game, Starcraft.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I would like to know if this is a known issue, or if this is just an isolated incident on my
computer.
