Hey guys, just was wondering if anyone knows a way to transmit an HDMI signal to a WiFi router to a PC?
I know there are HDMI wireless transmitters that exist. But they are limited in range (100-200ft LoS) and you have to have a capture card for each one. This would be our last resort option.
The cheapest setup I've found exactly what I'm looking for is the Teradek Cube 255: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/859076-REG/Teradek_CUBE_255_Cube_255_HDMI_Encoder.html
The WIFI is our ideal choice because it offers the range we're looking for (800-1200ft LoS) and scales easily if we decide to add more cameras.
But at $1600 a pop it's pretty steep for 3 cameras.
Wired is not an option sadly.
Any ideas would be appreciated!!
