I'm trying to finish a paper and all the readings are confusing me to no end Google turned up a lot of unrelated garbage.

Is the Yanomami a segmentary lineage society? If yes, what makes you say so?

It's also known as Segmentary Opposition if that helps..

I have no clue what that is.
I've never even heard of Segmentary Opposition or Segmentary Lineage Society.

The stuff we went over are Matrilineal, Patrilineal, and some others but I've never heard of that.
