Any boards that support athlon X2 with AGP?

Looking to upgrade to an X2 and already have an agp 6800GT card. I dont want to grab a new vidcard cause of this. Are there any motherboards that have an AGP slot that supports the X2 3800?

THe Asrock Dual Sata has AGP and PCI. The caveat is that driver install can be a pain.

Just about any nForce3 Ultra board out there should do it. My personal experience with the Epox 9NDA3+ was great, but many people like the MSI (not sure of the model).

I believe the MSI NEO2 Platinum can do this...and it's a great board. Check around at eBay for some prices in the $70's.

Yeah, teh Neo2 is excellent for OCing & it works well with X2s.

I'd suggest the AsRock though, since you get PCI-e for later too

Definitely go for the Asrock Dual939 - you don't want to be stuck with no graphicsupgrade option in 6 months when your video card is obsolete.

I would recommend the ASRock. I did an install with a friend and it went great. I would suggest, however, that you download the latest drivers from the ASRock website and nVidia website.

I have the K8N NEO2 F with agp and it takes all the current X2 cpus.
When I installed my X2 3800 I didn't even need a bios upgrade. Just
plugged it in and it runs sweet.

If you'd search a little, I think you may find this question asked and answered before. Many mobos do work so long as there is a BIOS update. All I can suggest is checking out the manufacturer's support website to verify there is a patch to allow this.

I know for a fact there was a BIOS for the Neo2 Plat. (someone also mentioned another Neo2)

The Msi Neo2 F and the Platinum both support X2 cpu's without any bios upgrades
which is the reason I bought it. I have a X850XT agp card that still works and plays
games just fine and didn't want to have to dump for PCI-X.
