I couldn't do P90X. That program is for people that are already in great shape and want to get ripped.
QFT...it's sad those doing the program and just lying about what they are capable of. Like the dude 50+lbs overweight claiming he can knock off 20 pullups after a week in one of the offices I was at.
Bowflex is either you love it or hate it. They are good machines, but there are also 'cheapies' in the lineup. For a lot of people they turn into another place to hang clothes from, just like a gym membership though that someone only uses the first 2-3 months then forgets about.
If you have the space and dig the concept, it's a good system especially for condos/apartments where a half a ton of weights may not be practical.
If you have a ground unit and the space I really prefer a nice set of dumbbells, an Olympic set of plates/bar and a cage type bench with pull up bars and safeties. If your room is narrow they make narrower bars as well.
