Any chance we'll see 760's get lower than $249?

I heard the rumors of the higher end stuff lowering prices to match the new AMD cards but I've not heard anything about the 760 - anyone think they'll drop below $249 anytime soon?

I gave up and got a 660. It is going to my fiancee's kid when maxwell comes out anyways. For 150 bucks after rebate it was good enough. I basically doubled the performance from my 470 for 50 bucks. I sold my 470 to a friend for 100.

Bummer, the bundle might be worth while if I was buying the card outright and I might be able to sell the games to get some money back.

I however, am looking to use Evga's step-up to trade up my 660 to a 760 now that I can afford the difference but I doubt I'd also get the bundled games.

It's all about budget for me and to be able to jump to a 760 puts me in a better position to get another to SLI in the future than my current plan of getting a 660 to do so.

Thanks for the info.

It will end up on what AMD prices the R290x and R290. If it forces Nvidia to drop prices on the gtx780 (as it should), then it will create a ripple effect for the gtx770 and gtx760, ESPECIALLY if the rumored gtx770 TI shows up (GK110, 10 SMX's, 384-bit), which I believe it will.

GTX760 will go to $200 and GTX770 go to $300, according to the last rumors.

That leaves a huge gap between the 770 ($300) and the 780 which is currently at $650 but will have to be dropped when the R9 290X hits tonight at $550 (as rumored!).

I'm not buying those "latest rumors". I think nVidia will pretty much sit tight at current price levels other than the high end. There may be some deals on Black Friday or for Christmas, MAYBE, depending on the manufacturer.

No, you wouldn't get the games, and that would be a worthless upgrade...really imho.

I imagine the prices will come down eventually, but the 760s if they drop any won't drop much. The card that will likely drop will be the 770 (even though they said they wouldn't a couple of weeks ago). Even with the game bundle I just don't see the value in that card at the price they want for it.

Well, i don't have anymore the news that point this, but it is based on this information: http://www.techspot.com/news/54182-...u-prices-in-november-to-compete-with-amd.html

The poster put $300 to GTX 770 and $200 to GTX 760, cuts given one month after GTX 780Ti launch. Nothing was said about the third card with price cut.

Nowhere is there anything about the prices you claim, actually it more or less talks about a new (weaker) card to fill the large $150-250 gap. :whiste:

I highly doubt NV will drop the prices on the 760/770, which is unfortunate. No way I would pay $400 for a card with 2GB of VRAM, and the 4GB GTX 770 is $450 which is just stupid for price/performance. 280X is where it's at for price/performance right now.
