I really like them. I once started to make Around the World out of Minecraft Noteblocks, but after a month of gathering resources and getting about halfway through the setup I got distracted by something and never did finish it.

i heart daft punk. the new album is pretty cool. I get that their first single was on purpose to get kissfm and the likes to shower the masses with it so i dont hate.
can't wait to have a chance to see them in concert.

Recently, a lot of Daft Punk turns up on my running/workout mix on Pandora.

Tron Legacy soundtrack was a masterpiece.

Not really a big fan of "Get Lucky" TBH, but it's not bad.

I have to say I don't really care for it that much. Some of the tracks are pretty good, but as a whole I feel like they got stuck in the middle of where they started from and where they wanted to be and thus we end up with mediocrity instead of brilliance.

also for those bitching about the "leak" there was a FLAC CD rip uploaded to all the major torrent sites on the 15th. which was 2 days before the CD actually came out so yes it was leaked

But is that because it's substantially not EDM? Get Lucky, other than a few bits here or there, sounds like a 70's disco track. I like the song, but still.

Give Life Back to Music, same thing. Other than the voice it's a 70's piece.

it's certainly produced and mixed very well; i guess i don't live anymore in a haze of sex and drugs so the funky soulfulness of it escapes me, but if i were listening to it like i was 18, i'd say it's garbage.
