Any fair priced hotel in NYC with an in room jacuzzi?

UPDATE 3 (Feb 1):
It's Official. Staying at The Muse. Just made reservations for $335/night. They were out of the cheapest room which would have been fine but I only spent an extra $20/night. This place is about 1 minute from times square and got very good reviews at tripadvisor.com. It was something like the #3 ranked near Times Square according to tripadvisor.com.

ALL THE HELP EVERYONE GAVE IS MUCH APPRECIATED!

UPDATE 2:
Giving up on the Jacuzzi. Don't want to spend that much. Let's cap this at $350/night for any other room. I'd love to spend less than $250/night though. Ideal location is close to Times Square.

UPDATE 1:
Now open to nicer places without a jacuzzi. $350 max. I did find one place (mentioned in thread below) that has nice a suite for $400 with a 2 person jacuzzi. No idea what the layout is though.

I am planning a weekend getaway for my wife. Got tickets for Wicked.

Now I have to find a hotel. I really want a hotel in NYC with an in room jacuzzi that fits 2 people. It's hard to find on the internet though. Does anyone know of a hotel that has this in NYC?

Thanks!

Depends. Are you willing to share the jacuzzi with bed bugs?
(Check online before booking any reservations to see if people have reported bed bug problems at your hotel.)

I would say all hotels in NYC are priced fairly... I actually bet it's based on supply and demand...

I stayed on the Jersey side. Cheaper and more options.

But if you have the cash just start with priceline, expedia, etc... and once you find a couple you like go direct to their page and then call them. If they will not beat the "priceline" type web-sites then book with them. But I have found they will at least match them.

So, no way of finding a jacuzzi easily?

Does priceline or expedia or any other major site let you filter for such things?

^^

Start with the 2 1/2 stars+ and see which ones have suites?

Probable be best to look for suites or higher end rooms in the area you want then just hotels.

in Manhattan or somewhere else?

In Manhattan, you're talking $600 a night +

a bare bones room is $350

the hotel will usually know if it has jacuzzis or not. you can find out by calling them.

I stayed at the Affinia Dumont Hotel hotel. We paid $90 a night through priceline. They asked us to upgrade for $40 more a night. He said there was a hot tub. I mean, I was in NY. The last place I wanted to be was in a hot tub, so I declined.

This one has a tub in the middle of the room. Not quite a jacuzzi but close enough, I liked it when I stayed there last year. Your also in the middle of the meat packing district too.

The web site didn't mention a price. Do you remember what it was ballpark?

Thanks,
I'll look into that one. A Hot Tub would be awesome. I actually wanted that but I didn't think I would find it in NYC.

BUMP.

Some wonderful help was provided. Hoping to get a few more ideas by tonight, when I hope to reserve the room.

It's a bit expensive, roughly $750/night but if you call and are going in the off peak season, FEB - MAR timeframe, you can get it for $615 or so. The room is huge, it's like 750 sq ft. Great place, you would never think those rooms would be in there if you looked at the place from the outside. Prime location nontheless.

I've never heard the terms "Fair Priced Hotel" and "New York" in the same sentence together. Wow, that sounds weird.

Well, for NY. You are looking at about $300/night on average. I'd go high $300s for the hot tub treatment. $600/night is pushing it, but I'll investigate none-the-less. if it is in the cards, I'll do it.

Oh, March 18-20 (Fri-Sun) is when we are going. Should I splurge though? March 19, 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of our first date. So it is kind of a big deal. And I can count the times we have done something like this on one hand.

FOUND ONE POSSIBILITY:
70 park ave

For about $330, you get a room with a jacuzzi. Have to call to see how big it is. The Queen Suite is advertised to have a 2 person jacuzzi for $410 or so.

I appreciate the idea. The place looks very nice indeed. It is $800/day for my March 19 weekend. Just to much.
