i hate how they have to kill the fish just because it is a record. it is the same when you have a fish big enough for a citation. you really can't get the citation without killing it.

i hope at least people use it for food if they do so. i'd prefer to throw it back though.

oh and on that note, i MIGHT go fishing tomorrow with a buddy, depending on how cold out it is.

i went fishing on saturday and it was really bad. i think the conditions just aren't right yet to be fishing off the shore. it's too shallow where i can cast and too cold too. was there for like an hour and had no bites.

I started fishing at 1:30 and didn't get a single bite until 3:00 and then i kept catching them back to back but most were small brim.

It was 72*F with no winds

I paid $450 for everything, motor is oooooooold but starts right up everytime and has no problem lifting the nose of this little boat out of the water. I'm tired of fighting the weeds and other people for the good spots people fish on shore. I drive an Infiniti G35, it will look funny towing a boat... I can't wait. (I bought a hide away hitch for it, plan on installing it once its just a bit warmer)

Evinrude motors are bullet proof. I got a 7.5 Evinrude from the 50's still running. Sure we done work on it but it still running solid.

Probably is the boat is about 1,200 lbs dry and I have a mini-van...(working getting a truck in the near future)...which as a max towing capacity of 1,500 lbs.

Had to tow that boat ALL summer with a mini van...talk about looking like a dip shit trying to launch a boat with a mini van lol...oh the embarrassment.

I fish in Manitoba and also down in the Gulf of Mexico depending on the season. I walleye fish in my local city lakes and also in Northern Wisconsin.

I once got a $40 fine for fishing carp with a bow and arrow along John Nolan Dr, about where the convention center is now. My buddy and I had pulled a couple of epic 20+ pounders before some busybody called the police.

The fine was for allegedly "possession of a firearm in a city park."

Man, I got skunked two trips in a row. The first was to a little pond in the woods where we've done well every time. Yesterday my friend and I went out into the marshes of extreme eastern New Orleans. Friends have caught 30 redfish in one sitting there before.

Not even a bite (except for the gnats).

My mojo is broken or something.
