Any Ford, GM, or Chrysler cars worth taking a look at?

I can get X-Plan at Ford, under invoice at GM, and 1% under at Chrysler. So I'm trying to see if they have anything my gf might like and save money on. Right now her eyes are on a Forester XT (auto though ).

The entire Land Rover lineup is under Ford X-Plan.
Explorer AWD
I think even the Escape has 4x4
Does that new Freestar or whatever have 4x4 from Ford?
Also, the entire Mazda lineup is under Ford X-Plan.

Saab 9-2x Aero...available thru GM Employee Discount plan, plus 6 or 7k rebate. AWD + turbo... Basically a re-badged Subaru WRX with a better looking Saab face. It would be around $20k nicely equiped.

The ford 500 AWD is nice but underpowered the freestar is nice too. The 300/charger/magnum are all available with AWD and badass. Does that Saab wrx clone fall into the x-plan? Chrysler Pacifica.

What price range? That would help alot.

Just admit it, Subaru > Ford/GM/Chrysler....even GM smart enough to have that 20% piece of Subaru

Have her check out the Chevrolet Equinox. I have a feeling she will like it. It is a good vehicle, at a reasonable price.

Not AWD but the Chevy Malibu is an AWSOME value. The only other draw back is that it has a love-it-or-hate-it look to it; I own one so I happen to like it very much With the discounts they have out now you can pick one up for under $18k with a 200hp/200ft lbs torque engine, power everything, 6 speaker MP3 player, sunroof, cruise, power-adjustable pedals, telescopic steering wheel, 6 way power position seat, enormous amount of front and rear leg space, side curtain and dual front airbags, and about 24mpg city, 38mpg highway gas mileage. I'm sure I sound like a salesman but I did allot of homework far a car in this price range and it was BY FAR the best value I came across. I've owned one since June 04 and it drove like a champ through the streets of Eielson AFB (near Fairbanks Alaska) all winter. Just so you know if your GF is concerned about handling in poor weather it literally does not get any worse than it does up here in the winter; the roads are covered with3 to 5 inches of ICE and the temperature never exceeds -20F 5 for months every year. If you take one for a test drive I think you'll be impressed.

Disclaimer: I know there are many of you chomping at the bit by now to "inform" me that there are better cars out there but I must digress in saying that for less than $18k for the LS (mid level, non-base) after rebates (you might even get one for less) you won't find a better value. And for the record my wife thinks it's ugly as hell What does she know...
