I shot some video earlier this week for a client and I was horrified to discover how bad the focusing was on some of the footage. Fortunately as I had shot several takes, I have usable material to work with. However since I plan on doing a lot more video in the future I realize I'll need to invest in a better camera. I've been hearing rave reviews about the Lumix G7 and it has a very reasonable price point. My concern is with how well will it perform using DX lenses with an adapter. Anyone here have experience like that?
I'll also need to look into a external recorder at some point. I've noticed a lot of people pair their DSLRs up with the Atmos Ninjas. Anyone care to comment on their experience with those?
