How is this the wrong forum?

I have a razer boomslang 1000 and I love it, however I have noticed the hanging on small movements. it is really annoying... Unfortunatley I think mine isout of warranty and I am screwed... dont have the money for this deal, money going towards MOBO and CPU now

I must have lucked out with my coupon that had an expiration of 1/7/02. I guess the cashier did not look close enough, hell I didn't even see the expiration.

Listen everyone.......I have a top notch system, (Palomino XP 1800+, GeForce3 TI 500, 4.1 Surround etc....you get the idea), and I thought I had everything. Until I bought this mouse. I just can not say a bad word about this thing (unless I was left handed). I previously had a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer, that I will give to my Mother-in-law (hint....I don't care too much for her).

Anyhow, just wanted to let everyone know how awsome this mouse is. Logitech seems to be doing alot of right things lately....Z560's....

Wonder if my wife would mind if I brought my new mouse to bed tonite.......Don't answer.

m1ke: according to staples new policy u can't, but policies are meant to be broken by ignorant managers/cashiers who have always let u do it and will let u do it until their caught. Just hope u get an ignorant cashier or a really nice one...

Just my two cents on logitech mouses

I had the logitech cherry red special edition logitech optical mouse (29.99$ everywhere) and it was only two months old, but I recently bought the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical for 10$ because it was such a nice deal. Loved my logitech one (i had been using cheap 4.99$ mouses before with balls) but it didn't have enough buttons and logitech's software sucks if u assign the middle scroll button to close application (sometimes it closes the wrong window). Microsoft doesn't have that problem and their intellimouse has a couple more buttons which I prefer for gaming. Anyways, love microsofts mouse but that deals over, cash in on a good deal for this mouse cuz u never know how enjoyable a good mouse is until u get one

Braves, I like the logitech dual optical because of its precision. The Boomslang 2000 inputs 2000 DPI, but it is mechanical and needs maintained, cleaned and does not have the greatest track record.

The Logitech inputs 1600 DPI----two optical sensors that do not need maintained.

MS Explorer (my guess would be 800 DPI 1/2 of the logitech).

I got an extremely precise mouse for only $29.00. I have already tried some gaming with it, and noticed a huge difference as opposed to my MS Explorer. I have always been interested in the Boomslang 2000, but @ $100.00...forget it. Logitech has once again (Z560 vs Klipsch) produced a product that is superior and also cheaper.

Um.. Klipsch 0wnz j00.

Get your Boomslang on eBay.

I would NEVER give up a boomslang 2k for an optical mouse. I would get this dual optical mouse but once again Logitech makes a superior product but forgets what the gaming customer needs.. 5 BUTTONS!!!!

I CANNOT PLAY a game with-out having 5 buttons on the mouse. It's insane to use the keyboard and only 3 mouse buttons!

Dude, I can understand your 5 button position, but I hated my MS Explorer because I would always accidentally bump a button while doing something other than gaming. I always hated being on the internet and bumping a button on my 5 button explorer and finding myself 3 pages back from where I wanted to be.

The Z560's do rule.

i've tried both logitech and microsoft optical mice, and i have to say, logitech definitely is better for gaming. although the microsoft does have a lot of buttons which are useful, logitech seems much more responsive.

Wireless IMO is terrible for gaming! The main problem with wireless is that if you stop moving your mouse for a second it shuts off to conserve battery and when you try and move it has to wake up first then move. This is SOOO annoying for first person shooter games and my other issue with wireless is 3 weeks of battery is just not enough and way too expensive in the long run. The Boomslang2k owns but needs maintenence so the this Logitech is by far the closest thing to the Boomslang without the hassle.

Got my staples coupon in my email. $10 off of $40. Bought the mouse, priced matched down to $39, and a three ring binder needed for the kid (about 5$).

Total $35.81 with tax. Not bad at all.
