I've been wanting an optical mouse but I need a wireless because I've been spoiled by my Intel Wireless mouse. I'm very happy with it but never having to worry about cleaning the rollers would be nice. One of these days, just not today........

I have the razer boomslang 2000, and its falling apart day by day. The clicking mechanism has been messed up for the last 3 months, and the ball stops moving sometimes even when I'm moving my mouse, so this deal is worth it for me. I'm going to buy this, then RMA the razer so I have 2 mice to choose from

I liked the razer boomslang but the two I used had tracking issues, when I turned them really fast it would do bizzare stuff, like if I moved it left quickly it would go right quickly but keep going right for like 3 seconds until i got control back

I replaced a Boomslang 2000 with this mouse because I wanted optical. I would say it is "almost" as good as far as game playing is concerned. But now I don't need to clean the ball all the time and Logitech didn't go out of business for a while like Razer did, although they are back now; for how long who knows. The only problem I have heard about and experienced is the fire button locking in Q3 on WinXP. But there is a workaround using the default XP drivers. Haven't tried that tho...

BTW, speaking of coupons... is anyone else having trouble getting into the @ble 5h0ppers site? You know that site that enABLEs us to be good SHOPPERS....

as hot as this deal may be.... i'm highly disappointed in logitech's new styling... that thing is just not comofortable.. not like their previous mousemen. i could tolerate it more if that "ledge" over the pinky was there... very very annoying.

Thanks, I just picked one of these up at Staples for $29.99. Great deal on a super good mouse.

BTW: Do not use the printable coupon linked in the above post. (The staples that I went to had a picture of that coupon on the cash register, that was highlighted "DO NOT accept this coupon......) LOL. The on that I used was an email version (I just did a google search to find it). I can't remember exactly where I found it, but it worked like a charm.

I've been looking for something to replace my Boomslang 2000. IMO, the boomslang is the best mouse ever made for gaming.... but it lacks in quality. I've went through 4 Boomslangs in the past 3 years. Those puppies just dont stand the test of time. After a while the small movements just hang so it messes up your sniping abilities. Anyways, I think I will give this mouse a try.

Dude, this mouse is awsome (i can't believe I am so excited about a rodent). Anyhow, review after review this mouse beats the Boomslang 2000. Here is one to prove my point.

Also, anyone having problems with some of the new KT266a boards and not powering off their optical mouse when the PC is turned off, this is one solution. It powers itself off when not in use.

This would be a deal even at $39.00, but you better hurry because CompUSA's deal ends this week.
