I was watching one of those sports shows like PTI the other night and I heard them commenting about this movie. Maybe it was cold pizza or whatever that show is called now. I think Skip Bayless was saying this was the most overrated football movie there is.

I think he's freaking nuts. This movie is awesome. VERY VERY good movie, seriously. Its different than Varsity Blues or Remember the Titans, but that difference is what makes it special. Amazing movie in all regards, best football movie there is.

Remember the Titans was pretty good cookie cutter sports movie type stuff, Varsity Blues was teenager stuff, Any Given Sunday was more adult oriented whats-under-the-surface type stuff. Three very different movies that I don't think really deserve comparing.

Any Given Sunday was unbelievably bad. The direction during the football scenes made them incomprehensible to follow what was going on, the story was dumb, the acting stiff, and was just an all around mess of a movie

Yes, way too many wangs a floppin'. Seeing Laurence Taylor (I think) cut that Suburban in half was pretty cool.

Any Given Sunday is the most underrated movie ever.

Nobody got it.

The movies isn't really about football.

It has so much commenty on modern life, especially the role of males.

Olivers Stones directing is aswome. Some many things are said with imagery. But stupid amercians dont understand it.

Most will disagree, and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but everyone I know that has good taste in movies likes this film.

Any Given Sunday, I thought, was pretty good. I prefer Friday Night Lights (The movie, not the shitty TV series) when it comes to Football movies.

Remember the Titans is too cliched, I used to like it, but now it just makes me sick. Didn't like Rudy, haven't seen Brians Song in a while, so I don't remember much of it.

Varsity Blues was alright, but nothing special, and The Program was pretty good, but not very memorable. And I absolutely hated the Longest Yard (old and new).

This is the one where Al Pacino gives some shitty speech in the locker room right? I saw some place try to say that was the best sports speech in any movie, and sorry but it was lame as shit. The whole movie just ended up weak and uninteresting.

I didn't like Friday Night Lights either. It might've been an ok story, but the movie just wasn't that good.

The Program was just stupid.

All the Right Moves is as good as those are.

Its been too long since I've seen Rudy. Varsity Blues isn't meant to be taken seriously so it shouldn't even be compared to any of these others. Remember the Titans is ok, I liked it better when I was younger, its a bit too corny now. The Longest Yard, well I don't think I even need to say anything about the remake, and the original was ok but doesn't stand up well over time.

I thought it was a good movie, Football wasn't the focus of the movie, even though that's what it was about. Sort of like 8 Mile wasn't really about Rapping. I liked the characters in it, the Football scenes were just okay, but the story kept me watching.
