Any good guides on how to install Redhat Linux 7.3?

What should i keep in mind?..Do I need a mouse?

Installing Red Hat Linux 7.3 is as simple as installing Windows. Just follow the installation wizard and you're good.
A few things to keep in mind:

• Partition - if you plan to dual boot, make sure you don't rewrite or reformat your Windows partition (NTFS or FAT)
• Boot image - Again if you plan to dual boot, and decid to keep your Windows boot loader, make sure you save the Linux boot image in your Linux partition. And you can use a tool called BootPart to customize your boot option.
• XFree86 Config - Choose a correct resolution, and color depth. Be sure to test it beforer you click next.
• Network & Firewall - If you're running your computer in your home LAN or behind a gateway. Do not enable the firewall.
• Ximian Gnome - Make sure you download and install Ximian Gnome Desktop as well as Red Carpet.

Maybe you should try reading the offial redhat installation manual.. it has one you know on Redhat.com..

holy crap a tripple post lol

dual booting seems pointless doesn't it? the computer is either for games, a server or working with stuff like Word. they are have conflicts which each other so it's best to just stick to 1 OS.

just put the boot image on a floppy (it's in the manual how). put the floppy and CD1 into their respective slots then restart the computer. when the install process kicks in, just try to answer the questions as truthfully as you can and if you don't know the answer to what it is asking, don't pretend to know the answer.
a mouse is very handy for installing RedHat.
