its called "Be With You", or its Japanese title is "Ima, Ai no Yukimasu"

Aren't they all tragic stories.

- Someone always goes blind, or gets killed, or loses someone due to an accident and has to learn to fend for themselves, or loses all he/she owns.

Either that or they are mindless action movies, or slapstick action.

I enjoy both, but it gets repetitive after a while.

well this one is different, its about a woman who dies, but promises her husband and kid that she will come back to them a year later....

as for action movies...

check out Guns and Talks, its a korean flick, pretty funny, and lots of action.

Try, "Ga Jok" or Family.

It's a Korean film about a drunken father and redemption.

Pretty good tearjerker.

OLD BOY


It's the only movie i've ever seen where at the end of the movie, me and my friends i watched it with just stood there speechless for a minute or so. Just shocked, as we're trying to sink in what we just saw, wide eyed, mouths open.

I broke the silence finally...

"That. ...

Wa...was phokked up!!!! kickass movie, but DAMN phokked up"

If you liked Ong Bak, the guy's got a new film out. Well, in SIngapore, at least. It's called "Tom Yum Goong". My wife's catching it tonight with her friend while I'm off to watch DOOM.

actually the sci-fi/action/fantasy genre for asian films blows. U.S. films (LotR, Star Wars, etc) are still the best.
