Any good products to remove minor scratches from side mirror?

These are minor scratches, but they cause a crap ton of glare at night.

Define 'minor'? Like scuffs from whacking stuff? 'Cause I would answer that with 'something abrasive.'

Maybe try a clay bar first (technically not an abrasive, IIRC, but works like one), then move on to some kind of rubbing compound if needed.

A lot of 'scratch removal' products don't seem to be much more than cleaner wax, and they're not going to do anything if you're through the clear coat. First thing is to identify if you're trying to clean up YOUR paint, or clean OFF something that transferred. I've seen people say that they had 'black scuff marks' or something, only to look at it and see that their 'minor' issue was that the paint was entirely gone, with the plastic underneath exposed.

I think the OP is saying that the mirror itself is scuffed or scratched.

You can usually buy just the glass mirror part and replace it. Year/make/model?

Ohhhh...now the glare thing makes sense. Heh. I would think that's like trying to remove scratches from a windshield.

If the mirror glass isn't replaceable, or just not sold, aftermarket mirror assemblies are usually damned cheap. You can usually swap the painted cap over, if applicable, assuming you can get it off without annihilating it (can be hard).

Depending on how minor, try rain-x. It's essentially filling in surface imperfections. It may not remove them but may help a bit.

'97 Corolla. I'll look into replacing it. Thought something like that would be expensive.
