Richard K. Morgan.... can't wait for the movies (still in development).

Skorp... the series (I think) was about traveling by teleporting into another body. One had the guy zapped into a ring and not remembering who he was (only being able to fly on magnetic force lines through the atmosphere). And there was another of the guy zapping to another world and sleeping with a concubine because his host provided it (even though that was immoral to him) and validating it because it was "not his body" or some such....

Finished reading Farnham's Freehold yesterday. I thought it was VERY good. So much happening in one book. Robert A. Heinlein was really an awesome writer.

Burn, there is one book that I have to warn you away from though. It is a Heinlien, but sounds like he lost a bet, was drunk off his arse, or was oing Senile.

It had something to do with dimensional travel of a group of 4 (A man, his wife, and I think one set of parents).

Definitely hackneyed and poorly written.

But 95% of his other stuff is stellar, no pun intended.


Also, didn't he team up with Silverberg on Nightfall? (Or was it a short story by one that was expanded by the other?)
