any idea about SMC wireless router 7004AWBR and USB card: SMC2662W?

I hate my AWBR. I couldn't get a clear signal one room away! It made me switch to HomePNA, whcih I know think is much much better. Don't have to worry about clean signals or anything.. well you still do, but they're not really that big of an issue. JandR had a good deal on the gateways too which acted like a bridge and router in one
JandR deal is gone now I think. :-/

JandR deal is gone now I think. :-/

i have one and can get a signal anywhere inside of my house, including the basement, and both front and back yards. i've got Orinoco, 3COM, and DLink PCMCIA cards that all seem to like my AWBR just dandy. guess YMMV... a lot...?

SHinj1EVA, maybe your wireless card is no good, or your walls are pretty thick. I think the AWBR is a fine machine. SMC is a reliable company too.
