My Lenovo T60 has both Trackpoint and touchpad. But, I almost never use either one since discovering the Logitech VX Nano mouse.

I used to love the trackpoint, but touchpads have grown onto me. Less precise, but faster.
Personally though, I wonder why no laptops ever included trackballs (or some optical equivalent).

My first laptop (Soundbook) had a small trackball - terrible device! It picked up skin oil from the finger and then slipped its gears incessantly. I then had a couple of WinBooks that had trackpoints and touchpads. I really like HP's switch by thetouchpad to turn it on and off. All lappies shopuld have that. Nothing beats a small, wireless mouse.
