Any method to use 2 PSUs?

I have a KK266 and I want to know if there is any method to implement two power supplies into the computer.

I mean using two PSUs simultaneously so I could give more power to the processor. For example, use one PSU for all the CDroms and harddrives while the other PSU solely for the motherboard.

But how could I turn on the second PSU? Doesn't it have to connect with the motherboard to be turned on?

I remember from this article that you could take a wire and splice it with another to make it load when the connected one did...

I'd say put in an old AT powersupply that turns on manually.

If you don't want to or can't put it in the case, then you could just set it right next to it, and get extentions if you have to and just run the wires through a free slot in the back or something.......
