Any Motherboard Monitor users, please help...

I'm running a a7v133

Asus BIOS says that their temp readings are higher, but more accurate than some other ways of obtaining temps.

MBM is reading about 9C higher than both Asus BIOS and Asus Probe (all off socket thermistor)!!!

Who should I believe more?

The bios readings on the Asus mobo is more accurate. Asus also provides temp monitor s/ware...the Asus Probe. D/load the latest version from Asus websites.

Asus Probe(asus temp monitor utility) reads the temps 8-10 c higher ..I see little benefit fro m the software based cooler...I would skip the asus probe...
As for the fan monitoring..it seems it to occassionaly read fan speed as 0....I doubt my fan starts and restarts..

I think Asus Probe gets its temps from the BIOS, those readings seem to agree. MoherboardMonitor software gives me like 8 deg. C higher than BIOS or Probe readings. Which more accurate? ANyone experienced this?

All my temps are the same whether it be MBM 5, AsusProbe or the BIOS. If your MBM 5 temps are 8 C higher, you may want to make sure you have it configured correctly.

hey found it!

i had cpu sensor on "Asus2cusL2" instead of just "Asus2" - now all sources agree.
Whats cusL2 anyway? is it a completely bogus temp, or should i think about it?

The Asus Probe u r talking bout is the ver 2.14.01. The new ver 2.14.04 corrected the probs of reading temp higher than the mobo bios.
