JchrisW, sorry about the delay. I saw this thread but didn't have a chance to reply at the time. As of right now, the limit I set on RR proxies is seven (technically there is no limit). My primary reason for picking seven is that the RR easily handles the current load and has enough play in it for a couple RR operators to disappear temporarily. Last week I did some modifications to the database which will allow my zone generator to automatically pull public proxies and use them in the RR on an as needed basis (this is currently disabled, but will be active sometime in the future).
Since the status page is for TA members, I've had to come up with a few requirements: For a RR pproxy: member of TA, and their pproxy must dump into Mika's. For a public listing: member of TA, and a suggestion of dumping into Mika's, but not necessary. For a private listing: simply being a member of TA. If you would still like to be listed as a public proxy, please contact me (email in profile). It's a simple little script you run which updates your status. As for perks, well a RR or public TA pproxy allows you to have a ???.teamanandtech.com hostname.
Brad..
