Any new RPGs on the way?

Gangland looks like it could be cool. The website says it "offers a unique blend of RTS/RPG/SIM."

"Beyond Divinity" will be out soon info here ,and if have not played the first one called "Divine Divinity" I suggest you buy it,I had fun killing all those Elite Orcs .

Yea that look cool... I did start the first one twice. But I had trouble with CTD bugs both times that didnt let me get into the game. It did seem cool though...

I'm a huge fan of RPG's, so I need to thank you for throwing out these suggestions. I've had a real hankering for some solid RPG action lately, and these games just might do the trick.

This post doubles as a bump for this definitely bump-worthy thread.

Yeah, me too. Hopefully the game will be focused more on the RPG end of the spectrum. There has been a serious lack of solid RPG's out on the PC lately, so hopefully Gangland will help will that void. I have to admit, an RPG set in a "gangland" sounds like quite an interesting prospect. It should be quite different than your average dragon/mage/fantasy RPG. We'll see I guess. I think the game is supposed to come out sometime in either Feb. or March.

The Fall is one that I first noticed after it was announced that Black Isle and Fallout 3 were gone. I can't say if they are trying to capitalize on the Fallout name but some of the screen shots look a little interesting. Vampire: Bloodlines looks interesting too, I really liked Vampire: Redemption even though it only got average reviews. A different developer this time but the style of the game looks similar. rpgdot does a pretty good job of keeping tabs on the rpg genre for anyone who isn't following a specific game's up to the minute details.

Yep RPGDot is another place where I find most of my info.

If you like turn based then

Metalheart looks good, bit like Fallout.

SACRED has some cool characters ,out in March I believe,anybody that likes" Divine Divinity" should like this game.

Level cap in "Sacred " is an amazing 150,I bet the character kicks ass at that level .

I think the devs are real fans of the post-apocalyptic genre in general. I know Silver Style hired some of the old Black Isle team after it dissolved (nice!), but they've been pretty clear from the start that the game will be more like Mad Max than Fallout.

Maybe when it comes to video games, but I was actually referring to the genre in the broadest possible sense, including other forms of expression like literature and film.
