Any news on Asus "Rampage Extreme"?

Is there any information from anadtech.com that can be shared concerning the Asus ROG X48 DDR3 "Rampage Extreme" motherboard? Is this product still being planned for release?

I gave up and went with the P5E3. Looks like it will be awhile if it does or plans to exist. No reviews yet doesn't look good for being released soon.

How are the MCH settings in the p5e3?

I am still putting the system together but by looking at the manual - it has one of the most refined memory settings that I have ever seen. So far the only issue seems to be running 1600 with 2 sticks of 2GB memory. I have been following the Asus forums for this board. I hope to have up and running for the weekend. I am on H20 with a QX9770 which isn't even supported by the board.

I too am waiting for the Rampage Extreme, and for Anandtech's review of it. The review of the Rampage Formula was excellent.

I'll settle for 3.6GHz but hope to get 3.8GHz, and would LOVE to get 4.0GHz. I've been looking at DDR3-1066 at CAS6, or DDR3-1333 at CAS9. I can spend more on the RAM if necessary in order to get the CPU speed.

That's sort of what I hope the review will help me with.
