I know of these tests. Which I have used quite often. The only variation I have used with these is running F@H at the same time.

I'll usually try a few overnight mixtures with looping an rts or fps game simultaneously with some WME/virtualdub action.
Okay this will show how new I am too all of this.
rts? NVM google is your friend Real-time Strategy.
fps? I assume first person shooter. and yes!
how do you loop these? Right now I only have the 3 Crysis games just bought em.
and/or WME/virtualdub if you could explain just a little here. That would be great. If not I am sure I will find it on Google .
Thanks a Bunch

Gaidin
Sorry missed you there Gaidin. Yes it would appear I do. Bios says the opposite "shrug". When it was set to on in the Bios I was getting a huge I mean HUGE vdroop. I forget what it was but if I recall like 1.260 idle would drop to like 1.180. So I turned it off....which obviously turned it it on and it started running much better. Before this adjustment my idle temps were ridiculous when I turned up the voltages high enough to run stable. So in my case I figure it will do more good than harm.
Update:Yet another update. I know they come in spurts sorry. So as I had been saying earlier in this thread the cooler I was running didn't fit with the side cover on. Well I really need to wrap up this little project here so I put the smaller fan in. In doing so my overclock is not stable anymore. I was connecting that too the fact that there was more heat, but I also noticed failed to put the SLI bridge back on after removing the MOBO.
So back to testing. I either hit a heat barrier or PCIe barrier here. it is going to be interesting to see. I hope it is not a bother that I post so much about this current project. I just know there isn't a lot of info out on this CPU yet.
Thanks
Dominic
