How bout the 5.1 Surround setting?
I've dug through all the settings I can find and I can't get this thing to pick up all the channels.
I'm running 5.08.
I googled it and found that 2.91 needed an ACR? plugin to support surround.

You can buy 5.1 surround sound plugins for winamp 5. I was pretty sure that 2.xx had it built in though. I am also wanting surround.

Takes a long time to load a directory of songs. Took 10 seconds foobar vs. almost instant in winamp.

By default winamp doesn't load all the id3 tags, while by default foobar does. You can set winamp to do it, mine is. It takes a while either way for my collection, but foobar does seem to do it faster.
And yeah, ideally music should be listened to in 2 or 2.1 channel sound.

Winamp > Foobar in first 2 minutes
Much Smaller real estate
Cant change songs with keyboard unless the window is activated. I can use my |<< >>| keys on my logitech keyboard to switch songs in Winamp, not in Foobar.
