Any online payment/money sending services that take the fees from the sender?

So my wife organizes bulk buying things for people where she orders the items and people pay her back. Lots of people want to be able to just send her money via Paypal or something similar. However, since all those service take out fees, she then has to add extra onto their amount to cover those fees since this isn't a business and we don't make anything from doing this.

So, are there any services like that that can charge the fees to the sender? So if someone owes $50 and it takes a 3% fee, that the sender would need up paying $51.50 so we'd get the $50 we needed?

Venmo? I always get the full amount I *charge* friends for lunch and when I pay, they add 3% to my cost if I use a cc.

So if someone owes you $10 and they pay you with a Credit Card through Venmo, doe sit charge THEM $10.30 so you get $10 or does it charge them $10 and you only get $9.70?

I'm looking for something that does the first option so I can just say Person X owes me $10 and in the end I get my $10 and they get charged the extra fee.

Paypal will do what you want, but only if your friends create an account and use the Transfer money to friends and family option.

PayPal does not take out fees if you choose a personal payment. However, since the fees are what cover PayPal's employees, buyers won't get protection if your wife attempts to cut and run with the cash. So as long as you aren't planning that, I don't see an issue with PayPal.

Paypal does take fees out of a personal payment if they use a CC though. and I don't know if people would do that. It does look like Venmo also only takes fees if you use a CC but they take the fees from the Payer and not the Payee which is what we're looking for.

I think I'll give them a look.

Right. However those basically just entail the payment system printing a check and mailing it just as if the user wrote a check themselves. Was hoping for something that was electronic to speed things up.

There will _ALWAYS_ be a fee if a credit card is involved. Period. No question. The credit card is charging the vendor (small %, 1-2%) everytime it is used.

that's true but that fee is not always passed down. Until a year ago Amazon payments was an easy way to get $1000 manufactured spend every month (with no fees). it was pretty popular for churners.

Sadly I learned about it a bit late and didn't get in as many months as others...

You say it's not a business but it looks like her customers are looking for a business relationship.
