Going on a trip and I was wondering if anybody's heard of any place to rent a Nintendo DS just for the duration of the flight? Thanks.

go to ebgames or something, buy the ds, take it on your flight and play it.... then, when you get back, return it.

there you go. you rented it and didn't lose any money in the end. problem solved.

Not very ethical, but he could do this.

that's what i did whenever i had to drive 16 hrs back to maryland and back and needed an mp3 player (the one i was using at the time was being used by someone else, so i needed a temporary one until i got it back)

Weird, you "needed" an mp3 player. I've driven many times without an mp3 player over quite far distances.

Agreed. This is the reason a lot of stores have crappy return policies.

Just buy it, then when you are done sell it here on the forums. You will lose some money of course, but its about the same amount you would spend if you did find someone to rent it to you.

Better yet.... if it is going to cost you $20 to buy-resell... buy it for $60-$80 from someone else used, use it 3 times, and after that you are saving money

But it's people like you who are the reason that stores with good return policies end up changing them around and making them crappy so they're not abused.

No... what he's saying is that a lot of stores that USED to have very customer-friendly return policies are changing their policies because people do stuff like you're describing.

No need to argue this guy, he probably wasn't raised right.
