Any PotPlayer users out there?

Does anybody still use Daum PotPlayer?
I used to use it exclusively for over a year until it quit working and started crashing a lot so I uninstalled it and went back to VLC.
I have had to recently reinstall Win 7 and have been thinking about downloading and reinstalling it again. I did like it very much and when it worked it worked well but VLC has always worked flawlessly for me so ......
What do you all think? What are you using for a media player?

I use VLC. It's libre software, and it works the way I like. Potplayer has its fans around here though. It's free to try, so why not if you're curious?

I have VLC, MPC-HC and Pot Player on my Win 7 64 bit rig.

I've been a fan of VLC for a long time, but it seems to be having some issues since the past few updates. MPC-HC does a pretty good job with most video files. Pot Player seems to have better video quality but is not as user friendly as VLC or MPC-HC.

It seems there are always video files that one player can't handle but the other one can, that's why I have more than one.

I use PotPlayer for testing purposes, and the occasional strange file that baffles my other players, including a few varieties of H265.

It is very capable, and plays HD video well, but the interface is not user friendly in the slightest, so I have to have a good reason to fire it up.

Change the UI to one of a bajillion skins that are out there. Otherwise, the options are mostly there to say, "Use LAV/MadVR" for me.

i use both under 8.1, pot players got more options.

I use PotRlayer still myself, with 8.1

I like all the options myself.
