Went to Costco in Tumwater (Olympia) on Monday. the only toilet paper they had in the whse was the super-jumbo rolls for dispensers. None for "home" use.
I was able to order from Costco.com, at a slightly higher price...and, of course, I had to spend $75 on qualified items to get free shipping. (but only one package of TP)

Last year I had to order these when I couldn't find TP in the store or online. I had 3 women in the house and there was no way I was going to run out of TP. Got to take care of the womenfolk during hard times.

Many supply problems still exist, DOT foods, (the largest redistributor in the US) didn't even send us a truck this week, they don't have enough staff to pick our order and send it over. Their warehouse is based in GA and entry level picker is $17.50/hr. Man are we going to have some pissed off customers come the next few days.

Costco today had everything but TP and Paper Towels. Totally empty.

Looked around almost all the other food aisles and nothing else was empty, except the 10lb bag of organic cane sugar was running quite low.

They did have a new Kim Chi brand in stock. Much smaller sized container, but this was imported from Korea, so I picked it up. Is definitely more pungent than the American made one they used to always carry that was huge. So kinda happy about that.

Just got back from walmart on one of my rare stops. I wanted store brand canola oil for my chainsaw. No gallons aside from Wesson, so I deferred. They also didn't have El Yucateco hot sauce(ongoing issue). A lot of bare spots on shelves.
