Any recs for a wireless gaming mouse?

I've been getting frustrated with my mouse because the wire keeps getting tangled with all the other wires behind my computer. So, when I saw a good online deal on the lx1000 I jumped on it, not knowing anything about it. But, I saw it today at a store and I don't like it. It feels heavy and the side buttons in my opinion aren't in a comforable location for gaming. Any suggestions on a wireless mouse that has a few extra buttons for gaming? It doesn't have to be laser.

I always liked my MX700, but I'm sure Logitech has something newer and better out by now.

Well, all wireless mice are going to be heavy.

MX1000 or G7 are your best bets.

Thanks for the help. I'll have to go back and compare the G7 to the LX1000. It's not only the weight of the lx1000, but the side buttons seem ok for windows but look uncomfortable for quick response in gaming. Maybe it's just me.

If it's anything like the MX510, which they should be since they're all Logitech, it's usually easy if you use only one button, but having both gets confusing.

The G7 is just like the G5 only wireless. The button (because ther eis only one side button on the G series) is in the same place and type that it is on the MX518.

The G7 has better comfort and better response time. It is not likely to lagg and it has a long life. What i find particularly interesting is that i can play games for hours without tiring. Hope this helps!!
