Any Sony/Ericson T68i Owners?

had one... traded it for another color... then sold it. it was a nice phone... lots of features... and before everyone else had a color screen it was bling bling for awhile.

I didn't realize they came in different colors, till after I bought mine, really don't care about looks, just like the size & features. If it just had a few more Palm-like OS functions, I could be without a stand alone PDA for the first time in years...

Maybe with the next generation of cell phone I buy...

I like the way I can clip it to my shirt collar or pants pocket & forget it;s there.

Most of the areas I'm in have good reception, I haven't even had any dropped calls (Have heard the reception & dropped calls are an issue with these phones)

I got one last week and I LOVE IT! The Bluetooth capabilities of MacOS X.2 are outstanding, and make this phone 1000 times more useful than a non-BT phone. It's just too sweet

Anyway, I don't have ANY of the reception problems that people are always complaining about, but maybe I'm just lucky. I have service with T-Mobile, btw.

I'd just like to see more Bluetooth devices...

I got one about two weeks ago, I like it so far. I want to get the holster for it lets it sit horizontal on your belt. What do you guys think of the reception of the phone? I've been unhappy with it in certain cituations, and I'm not sure if it was the phone or the service. If its the phone, I might take it back and get a Motorola T720 or the Nokia 7210.

I just got a Motorola T720. Fantastic phone. AT&T service works everywhere I have been so far.

Ive got one, and considering the new model when my provider picks it up. I like the long battery life. I dont care much for the rest of the options.

I grabbed a holster from Cellphoneshop.com for just a couple of $, added a bunch of other stuff to defray shipping costs.

Had my first dropped call last night.

My wife got a Motorola t720, it's pretty cool, I just like the form factor of the t68i better.

I don't get dropped calls with it, I just get flat no reception at all in some places. For example, inside our local mall, I could not get any service at all except near the AT&T wireless store (how convenient), and the other day I could not get reception inside a Togos. It's kind of ridiculous it not working inside places my old phone handled just fine. If the Motorola is better reception wise, I'll take it back just for that.

I have the REAL T68, not that T68i trash. Killer phone. That thing takes abuse like you wouldn't believe.

what do you mean by REAL?? i thought the only difference was one had a laggy menu (T68)

Had a T68 for a while.. great phone with really bad reception at times. Got myself a Nokia 7210 and love it even more.

The T68 non *i* version's back has a rubbery feel to it. The T68i has a straight plastic mould on to to the battery and the top part not covered by the battery. T68 has a rubbery type of mould so this may help take knows and abuse.

I have the T68 as the i wasn't out. I also have Teris on mine which the T68i doesn't have. I could get the firmware upgraded to the i at a place but I can't be bothered.

Well as long as this thread came back from the dead, I might as well update my post from above. I ended up bringing back my t68i and getting a Motorola T720. I like it better so far.

As do I.. but I've got mine upgraded with the latest T68i firmware.
