Any Tragically Hip fans?

Yeah, they're a Canadian band and probably not well-known elsewhere... Anyway, in high school I couldn't listen to the band. It wasn't the band I hated, it was the fans. Last summer, we had a kegger at my cottage and there was a lot of Hip played those two nights. The music grew on me (Actually, I bought an album ten years ago, but never really listened to it).

Recommend me some essential Tragically Hip...

I have a bunch of their albums. Love them. Day For Night is a good album, so is Live Between Us. Also, Road Apples, Fully Completely, and Trouble At The Henhouse. Good listening.

Oh yeah, they were my first concert too. Saw them at the Metro Centre when I lived in Halifax, N.S.


I have a few of their videos to, but some of them are incomplete downloads from my days on WinMX years ago.

they have like 1 or 2 good songs per album but about 49 albums

 

They are pretty good. I've seen them quite a bit.
I honestly couldn't tell you what to get from them.

Only heard a few songs from them, but I'll say yeah. I have their song "Stay" on here and it's pretty good.

Still listen to Up to Here all the time. Got the newest album and could hardly tell it was the same group.

They're a band I like better live than on CD. I like their CDs just fine, but they sound even better once they're a few songs into a live set.

Road Apples rules the bunch ... but yeah, they were overhyped a few years back. Now they're free to just write their music without HUGE expectations. Henhouse is brilliant too.

I've only heard a few of their songs, but they're pretty good. They made it into my mix.
