Any way to find numbers in one set of data that add up to a number in a second set?

I've run into this problem several times and stuck on this one.

I have 2 reports. One has a set of numbers, say:

100
200
500
1000
1200

And in a second report I have:

300
1700
1900
1400

Is there a way in Excel to find which numbers in set A can make up the numbers in set B?

I know what numbers I need to come back to in B, just need to know which ones in A make it up.

If I understand correctly, you want to take a set of numbers, and a 'target' number, and find all the subsets of numbers that will sum to the target?

It wouldn't be hard to write a real program to do this, but I'm not so sure about doing it in Excel. While it can do some neat things, it's not really geared for this kind of solving. Perhaps someone more versed in the intricacies of Excel can help...

Also, keep in mind that there may not be a subset that sums to the target, or there could be multiple subsets.
