Any way to make a playlist out of your songs playlist on PC?

I have like 100s of songs(not older than 2000) on my computer in a folder. I wanted to make a playlist out of it to share with my friends over the Internet.

Any method? Thanks.

hundreds? that is like nothing... what do you mean by share, streaming or have them have access to the actual files? Also, what is your upload speed?

younity looks interesting. I run plex myself but I don't use it for music.

I'm fairly confident it's not legal to stream your music to friends unless they also own the same music.

With that said, it's probably impossible to track down and prosecute if you maintain it on a private network.

There are plenty of ways to do this but I think you can do media serving through windows media player provided you open your computer to the internet and your friends have your IP address. If you have a dynamic IP this might be more difficult.

i'm no legal expert, but if that were the case, wouldn't it be illegal to play music for friends anywhere, like your car or house?

Haha, I dont use it every day, but at least 20 times in a year! I've teached my team at work some old school commands including this one! Glad to hear I'm not the only old DOS/command line still around.

not constantly... I only run it like once a month on my server 2012

Since Windows XP, I've never been able to trust Windows' file search functions to work correctly. I would often be looking at a file on my desktop that doesn't come up in the search, so I pretty-much stopped using any Windows GUI for file searching.

Nope. Definitely no way to make anplaylist out of songs on your PC. Never heard of such a thing. What is a "playlist" anyway?!

no, because you're playing your one copy for a private performance. which your typical purchased music (or streaming service) is licensed for.

streaming is making additional copies and sending them out. which you don't have a license to do.
