Any word on Quake 4?

You do realize that Id is currently working on Doom III right?
It probably wont be out until late summer at the earliest.

Quake4, if there will be one, isn't even on any charts yet(cept for possibly internal Id charts).

None. It will be after Doom III . . . and it's hardware requirement will probably be similar ("target minimum" = 1.2Ghz CPU/384MB RAM/Radeon8500/GF3)

This is also what I heard. The announcement was made at QuakeCon last year I believe.

I've also seen some of the development art. Also, the game will be focused more on single player rather than multiplayer. There was a short blurb on it in this months PC Gamer.

Like BoomAM pointed out, it is being developed by *** Raven Software *** not id directly. I think it'l be great... Raven did an awesome job with Jedi Knight II and Soldier of Fortune II. Sometime after DOOM III is all that can be said I'm sure, probably not in the next year... but most likely WAY before Duke Nukem Forever.

While it's far too early to make any accurate guess I would expect Quake 4 to have steeper requirements than Doom3 will.
